Pre-order

Looking for a centerpiece that feels like a find?

Most vases need a full bouquet before they look finished. This one only needs a few stems. Each tube holds a single flower, so even five or six blooms read as an arrangement.

Every vase began as an original wooden mold used to press hand-rolled cigars. We fitted each one with glass tubes and gave it a new life holding flowers. A few cosmos floating above the wood, the rich colors of marigolds, the lovely shapes of heirloom chrysanthemums: each season brings a different possibility.

A conversation piece even before you add the flowers.

The Piece

Each mold carries its own tone, wear and markings from decades of use, so no two vases are alike. We have only a small number, and once they're gone, they're gone.

Questions about the Cigar Press Vase

A cigar press vase is a vintage wooden mold, originally used to press and shape hand-rolled cigars, repurposed to hold flowers. Glass test tubes sit in the mold's channels so each one holds a single stem in water, creating a long, low centerpiece.

Each Antique Cigar Press Vase comes with 20 glass test tubes and holds up to 20 single stems. Fill every tube for a full centerpiece, or use just a few for a lighter look.

Yes. Each one is made from an original antique cigar press mold, so the wood tone, wear and markings vary from piece to piece. We offer them in very limited numbers.

Pre-orders are estimated to be ready for pickup in early November 2026. We'll email you as soon as your vase is ready.

No. The vase is pickup only, at the Bella Vista Farm Store in Independence, Texas (near Brenham), open daily 8:00 am to 7:30 pm, or at the Bryan Farmers Market on Saturdays.

$189 USD plus applicable Texas sales tax. All 20 glass test tubes are included.

Single stems with strong shapes: cosmos, heirloom mums, lisianthus, marigolds, zinnias, mountain mint, grasses and dried flowers. Seasonal stems from our Farm Store are a natural match.

Lift the tubes out to fill and rinse them, keeping water off the wood. Top up the water every day or two, wipe the wood with a dry or lightly damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sun to protect the patina.
