About the Poppies
• Poppies mark the moment winter truly gives way to spring.
• They are delicate, fleeting, and impossible to force year-round.
• These are not mass-market flowers — they are grown slowly, harvested by hand, and meant to be experienced up close.
Farm-grown poppies continue to unfold at home — petal by petal, scent by scent.

Frequently asked questions
What is the March Poppies Pre-Order?
The March Poppies Pre-Order lets you reserve farm-grown poppies in advance for early spring. Poppies are seasonal and limited, so pre-ordering is the best way to secure your bouquet when they begin blooming.
When will March poppies be ready?
Poppies are typically ready in early spring, with March as the target window. Bloom timing can shift based on weather. We’ll notify you as soon as your poppies are ready for pickup or delivery.
How does the pre-order process work?
Place your pre-order online now. When your poppies are ready, you’ll receive an email with the exact pickup date/time details (or delivery scheduling info if you selected delivery).
Is this for pickup or delivery?
You can choose local farm pickup or local delivery (where available). Pickup is at Bella Vista Flower Farm in Brenham, Texas. Delivery is offered for select areas (see delivery zone details on the product page).
Where do you deliver March poppies?
Delivery is available for select locations such as College Station, Bryan, Houston and The Woodlands (and nearby areas within our delivery zone). Delivery fee applies. If your address is outside the delivery zone at checkout, please choose farm pickup.
How much is the delivery fee?
Delivery fees are shown at checkout based on your address and the delivery option selected. If you don’t see a delivery option available, your address may be outside our delivery zone.
What exactly is included in the poppy pre-order?
Your pre-order includes a fresh, farm grown specialty poppy bouquet (or the size/quantity listed on the product page). Colors may vary depending on what is blooming at harvest time—part of the beauty of seasonal flowers.
Can I choose specific poppy colors?
Poppies are harvested based on what’s blooming at peak freshness, so exact colors can’t be guaranteed. We’ll always select the most beautiful stems available from the field that week.
How long do poppies last in a vase?
Vase life varies by variety and home conditions, but poppies are best enjoyed fresh and can open quickly. Keep them in clean water, recut stems, and place them in a cool spot away from direct sun and heat for the longest enjoyment.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Pre-orders help us plan harvest and availability. Pre-orders are final and cannot be cancelled.
Can I gift a March poppy pre-order?
Yes—this makes a beautiful spring gift. Add the recipient details in the order notes and we’ll coordinate pickup or delivery based on the option selected.
What if I miss my pickup window?
Please contact us right away if you can’t make your pickup time. Because these are perishable, we’ll do our best to accommodate a new pickup time, but we can’t guarantee extended hold times.
