Glass test tubes sit in the carved channels of the mold, so each tube holds a single fresh stem in water. The result is a long, low, sculptural centerpiece that looks arranged with just a handful of flowers.

There is something wonderful about giving an old object a new purpose. A few cosmos floating above the wood, the rich colors of marigolds, or the lovely shapes of heirloom chrysanthemums: each season brings a different possibility. Place it along a dining table, on a mantel, or among your favorite antique finds. No floral design experience needed. Just a few stems, thoughtfully placed.

At a glance

What it is: an antique wooden cigar press mold repurposed as a multi-stem flower vase

Included: the reworked cigar press and 20 glass test tubes

Capacity: holds up to 20 single stems

Best for: single stems such as cosmos, mums, lisianthus, marigolds, mint, grasses and dried flowers

Each piece is one of a kind: vintage wood with its own tone, wear and markings, so no two are alike

Price: $189 USD plus applicable Texas sales tax

Availability: pre-order, estimated early November 2026

Fulfillment: local pickup only (no shipping)

Made available by: Bella Vista Farm, a seasonal flower farm in Brenham, Texas

Why we love it

Every mark and variation in the wood tells a story.
